The Celestial City — Senior Living in Thiruvananthapuram

The Celestial City is the signature senior-living project of Sayahna Santhwam, a private trust registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, founded by a group of university academicians, professionals, scientists, and social activists. The community was inaugurated on 31 May 2022 in Manikkapuram, Puthukulangara, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram; its first phase is fully occupied and booking has opened for a second phase.

Residences are fully furnished 1 BHK, 1 BHK deluxe, and studio apartments and cottages. The community provides round-the-clock nursing care, doctors on call, and 24/7 caretaker service, along with elevators, guest rooms, 24-hour security, and generator backup.

Daily life includes food from the community's own organic vegetable, fish, and poultry farming, and residents have access to a library, auditorium, yoga hall, landscaped garden with jogging and walking tracks, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games, a television room, and a rooftop party area used for birthdays, anniversaries, and festival celebrations.
